In fact, all communication is intercultural, as there are always some differences: if not nationality, religion, ethnicity than age, gender, region, musical subculture etc.</p> <p>Notwithstanding our great experience, to understand and be understood across cultural borders is nothing evident. The main obstacle to such communication is nothing else but our psychological heritage, including our mechanisms of perception, information processing and identification. These mechanisms are remnants of a long and slow evolutionary process during which we were equipped to live in small groups of members very similar to us, and not to face the stunning diversity of today.
